HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 2662 RESOLUTION NO. 2662 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DOWNEY ADOPTING A PROFILE, AND IMPROVEMENT PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF PROJECT NO. 5950, IN THE CITIES OF DOWNEY, NORWALK AND SANTA FE SPRINGS. WHEREAS, Plans and Specifications have been checked and approved by the City Engineer and by the Los Angeles County Flood Control District for the construction of Storm Drain Project No. 5950, in the Cities of Downey, Norwalk and Santa Fe Springs. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DOWNEY DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the improvement Plans and Specifications entitled: "CONSTRUCTION OF PROJECT NO. 5950 NORWALK, 1970 STORM DRAIN BOND ISSUE, IN THE CITIES OF DOWNEY, NORWALK AND SANTA FE SPRINGS, CALIFORNIA ", prepared under the direction of the City Engineer of the City of Downey and the Director of Public Works for the City of Norwalk, are approved by the Director of Public Works of the City of Downey and are on file in the office of the City Engineer thereof, be and the same are hereby approved and adopted for such work and improvement. SECTION 2. The Los Angeles County Flood Control District is authorized to proceed with construction as described therein, and permission is granted to occupy and use the public streets in the City of Downey to operate and maintain said storm drain upon its completion. SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution and forward certified copies thereof to the Director of Public Works of the City of Downey for transmittal to the Los Angeles County Flood Control District.
