HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 2647 RESOLUTION NO. 2647 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DOWNEY REQUIRING ALL VEHICLES TO STOP AT THE INTERSECTION OF BROOKSHIRE AVENUE AND THE DOWNEY COMMUNITY HOSPITAL EXIT AT DAVIS STREET. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DOWNEY DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Pursuant to the authority of Section 21360 of the California Vehicle Code and Section 3131, Downey Municipal Code, it is hereby declared that all vehicles exiting Downey Community Hospital onto Brookshire Avenue at Davis Street shall stop. SECTION 2. The Department of Public Works is hereby authorized and directed to install all necessary and appropriate signs and markings to accomplish the stopping of traffic at the Downey Community Hospital Exit onto Brookshire at Davis Street, and red curb for 25 feet on the stopped approaches per Section 3160, Downey Municipal Code. SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution. APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS 25th day of January , 1972.
