HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 2514 RESOLUTION NO. 2514 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DOWNEY DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO VACATE PORTIONS OF RYERSON AVENUE THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DOWNEY DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. The City Council, upon recommendation of the Planning Commission, hereby declares that it is the intention of the City Council of the City of Downey to vacate portions of Ryerson Avenue which was described in the deed to the City of Downey, recorded in Book D38, page 432 of Official Records of Los Angeles County. Those portions of Ryerson Avenue to be vacated are shown on Map Number 2 -17 -288 on file in the office of the City Clerk to which reference is made for further particulars. SECTION 2. The hour of 7:30 p.m., on the 12th day of April, 1971, is hereby fixed as the time and the Council Chambers in the City Hall at 8425 Second Street, Downey, California, is hereby fixed as the place for hearing all persons interested in the vacation of said avenue. SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall cause this Resolution to be published in the manner prescribed in Section 8322 of the said Streets and Highways Code of the State of California. SECTION 4. Notices of the proposed vacation shall be posted in the manner prescribed by said Section 8322. SECTION 5. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution.
