A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DOWNEY
APPROVING THE FINAL SUBDIVISION MAP OF TRACT NO. 25450,
ACCEPTING THE DEDICATION THEREIN OFFERED, APPROVING AN
AGREEMENT WITH THE SUBDIVIDERS AND ACCEPTANCE OF SURETY
BONDS (DE PALMA STREET SOUTH OF LUXOR STREET WEST OF
MITLA AVENUE TO CITY LIMITS).
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DOWNEY DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. There is hereby submitted to the City Council by the
owners and subdividers thereof, a final subdivision map of Tract No. 25450
including plans and profile sheets which have been approved by the Planning
Commission and by the City Engineer.
SECTION 2. There is herewith submitted to the Downey City Council a
proposed contract between the City of Downey and the owners of said tract
for the construction of certain improvements within said subdivision.
SECTION 3. The above described contract is accompanied by surety bonds
for the faithful performance of the terms and conditions of said contract
and for labor and materials.
SECTION 4. The Downey City Council does hereby order:
(a) That the subdivision map of Tract No. 25450 submitted to this
meeting, including the plans and profile sheets submitted
therewith, be and the same is hereby approved;
(b) That the dedications therein offered be and the same are hereby
accepted for public use, subject to any restrictions to be filed
and recorded therewith; and that the proper officers of the City
of Downey be and they are hereby authorized and instructed to
approve said map and plans and profile sheets on behalf of the
City.
(c) That the Mayor of the City of Downey is hereby authorized and
directed to execute the proposed contract between the City and
said owners, and the same is hereby approved;
(d) That the surety bonds presented for the faithful performance of
the terms and conditions of said contract, and for labor and
materials, be and the same are hereby accepted.
SECTION 5. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
Resolution and forward a certified copy of this Resolution to Mr. John A.
Lambie, County Engineer, and Mr. I. L. Morhar, Road Commissioner, for the
County of Los Angeles.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was adopted by the
City Council of the City of Downey at a regular meeting held thereof on
the 23rd day of February , 1971 by the following vote, to wit:
