HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 2431 RESOLUTION NO. 2431 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DOWNEY APPROVING THE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE SOUTHERN PACIFIC TRANSPORTATION COMPANY AND THE CITY OF DOWNEY, AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND THE CITY CLERK ID SIGN SAID AGREEMENT FOR THE INSTALLATION OF A TWELVE -INCH (12 ") WATER MAIN UNDERNEATH THE RAILROAD TRACKS AT STEWART AND GRAY ROAD. WHEREAS, the City of Downey is desirous of installing a twelve - inch (12 ") water main underneath the railroad tracks at Stewart and Gray Road. For the rights granted by the Southern Pacific Transportation Company, the City of Downey shall pay a consideration of One Hundred Dollars ($100.00). NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DOWNEY DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the Agreement between the Southern Transportation Company and the City of Downey be signed by the Mayor and the City Clerk of the City of Downey. SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution. APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS 13th day of July , 1970. 1 Mayor ATTEST: ..
