HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 2384 RESOLUTION NO. 2384 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DOWNEY DESIGNATING THIRD STREET A THROUGH STREET AT ITS INTER- SECTION WITH SMALLWOOD AVENUE. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DOWNEY DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Pursuant to the authority of Section 3132, Downey Municipal Code, it is hereby declared that Third Street is a through street at its intersection with Smallwood Avenue, and rescinding prior action creating a YIELD at this location. SECTION 2. The Department of Public Works is hereby authorized and directed to install all necessary and appropriate signs and markings to accomplish the stopping of Smallwood Avenue traffic at Third Street, and red curb for 25 feet on the stopped approaches per Section 3160, Downey Municipal Code. SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution. APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS 28th day of April, 1970. Mayor ATTEST: ‘7.‘regi:- e "e;--0"--4----.
