A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DOWNEY
DESIGNATING FIFTH STREET A THROUGH STREET AT ITS INTER-
SECTION WITH SMALLWOOD AVENUE.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DOWNEY DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Pursuant to the authority of Section 3132, Downey Municipal
Code, it is hereby declared that Fifth Street is a through street at its
intersection with Smallwood Avenue, and rescinding prior action creating a
YIELD at this location.
SECTION 2. The Department of Public Works is hereby authorized and
directed to install all necessary and appropriate signs and markings to
accomplish the stopping of Smallwood Avenue traffic at Fifth Street, and
red curb for 25 feet on the stopped approaches per Section 3160, Downey
Municipal Code.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
Resolution.

the City Council of the City of Downey, at a regular meeting thereof held
