HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 2346 RESOLUTION NO. 2346 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DOWNEY DESIGNATING SIXTH STREET A THROUGH STREET AT ITS INTER- , SECTION WITH TRISTAN DRIVE AND RESCINDING YIELD CONTROL OF SIXTH STREET THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DOWNEY DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Pursuant to the authority of Section 3132, Downey Municipal Code, it is hereby declared that Sixth Street is a through street at its intersection with Tristan Drive and previous action to require Sixth Street to Yield to Tristan Drive isrescinded. SECTION 2. The Department of Public Works is hereby authorized and directed to install all necessary and appropriate signs and markings to accomplish the stopping of Tristan Drive traffic at Sixth Street, and red curb for 25 feet on the stopped approaches per Section 3160, Downey Municipal Code. SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution. APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 27th day of January, 1970.
