HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 2339 RESOLUTION NO. 2339 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DOWNEY PROHIBITING PARKING AT CERTAIN TIMES ONCE EACH WEEK ON BOTH SIDES OF NEWVILLE AVENUE BETWEEN FIRESTONE BOULEVARD AND RIO SAN GABRIEL PARK FOR STREET CLEANING. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DOWNEY DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Pursuant to Sections 22507 and 22652 (b), California Vehicle Code, parking is hereby prohibited (tow away) once each week on the day and during the hours set by the Director of Public Works on both sides of Newville Avenue between Firestone Boulevard and Rio San Gabriel Park for street cleaning. SECTION 2. The Department of Public Works is hereby authorized and directed to install all necessary and appropriate signs and markings to accomplish such prohibitions. SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution. APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 12th day of January, 1970.
