A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF DOWNEY AMENDING THE PAY PLAN
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DOWNEY DOES RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That certain document entitled City of Downey Personnel
Manual is hereby amended by changing Table I, "Plan of Salary Schedules"
thereof to read as shown in attached Table I.
SECTION 2. This revised pay plan for 1969 -70 effectuates a 5%
cost of living increase. It is the intention of the City Council
that departmental assistants not receive this increase. Therefore,
any other provision to the contrary, notwithstanding, the salary schedule
shown for the following classifications in the 1969 -70 Classification Plan
is hereby reduced by 5 %. The exact figures shall be determined by the
Director of Finance.
Assistant Director of Building & Safety
Assistant Director of Planning
Assistant Librarian
Superintendent of Parks
Superintendent of Recreation
City Engineer
Chief Accountant
Purchasing Agent
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
resolution.
