HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 2209 RESOLUTION NO. 2209 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DOWNEY PROHIBITING PARKING 5 A.M. TO 8 A.M. WEDNESDAYS ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF GALLATIN ROAD BETWEEN BROOKSHIRE AVENUE AND LAKEWOOD BOULEVARD FOR STREET CLEANING THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DOWNEY DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Pursuant to Sections 22507 and 22652(b), California Vehicle Code, parking is hereby prohibited (tow away) between 5 a.m. and 8 a.m., Wednesdays, on the South side of Gallatin Road between Brookshire Avenue and Lakewood Boulevard for street cleaning. SECTION 2. This Resolution rescinds prior action on this side and portion of Gallatin Road. SECTION 3. The Department of Public Works is hereby authorized and directed to install all necessary and appropriate signs and markings to accomplish such prohibitions. SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution. APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 25th day of March, 1969. Mayor ATTEST: f / L City C1e - �Xc.
