HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 2131 RESOLUTION NO. 2131 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DOWNEY OVERRULING PROTESTS (AD 105 PHLOX STREET) i ^ WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution of Intention No. 2097 adopted on the 8th day of July, 1968, the City Council set a hearin g on the 12th day of August, 1968, for the purpose of determining whether the work described in said Resolution of Intention should be per - formed, and WHEREAS, "Debt the majority protest provisions of the Debt Limit Act " are not applicable. NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Downey does resolve as follows. SECTION 1. After hearing the report of the engineer and all evidence for and against the doing of the work described in Resolution of Intention No. 2097 the City Council of the City of Downey finds that such work should be done and hereby overrules any and all protests to the doing of said work. SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution.
