A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DOWNEY
CONFIRMING THE ASSESSMENT FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF RUTGERS
AVENUE (AD 17)
WHEREAS, the assessment for the improvement of Rutgers Avenue, pursuant
to Resolution of Intention No. 1304, was filed in the office of the City Clerk,
of said City on September 21, 1964; and
WHEREAS, all proceedings in connection therewith have been in accordance
wity law; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing on said assessment was held on October 13, 1964,
and there were no written objections, protests, or appeals thereto or there-
from;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DOWNEY DOES RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the assessment and diagram for the improvement of
Rutgers Avenue, under Resolution of Intention No. 1304, be, and the same
hereby is confirmed and approved.
SECTION 2. That the Street Superintendent shall forthwith attach a
warrant, bearing the date of this order, to said assessment.
The Street Superintendent also shall execute and cause to be recorded a
Notice of Assessment in the office of the County Recorder.
SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be in full force
and effect.
