HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 0984 . �3 � RESOLUTION NO. 984 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DOWNEY CONFIRMING THE ASSESSMENT FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF DUNROBIN AVENUE AND OTHER STREETS (A.D. NO. 55) WHEREAS, the assessment for the improvement of Dunrobin Avenue and other streets, pursuant to Resolution of Intention No. 831, as modified, was filed in the office of the City Clerk of said City on March 30, 1962; and WHEREAS, all proceedings in connection therewith have been in accordance with law; and WHEREAS, at a public hearing on said assessment, which hearing was held on May 22, and June 11, 1962, all written objections, protests, and appeals thereto or therefrom were heard and considered by the City Council. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DOWNEY DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the assessment and diagram for the improvement of Dunrobin Avenue and other streets, under Resolution of Intention No. 831, as modified, be, and the same hereby is, confirmed and approved. SECTION 2. That all protests and objections of every kind or nature to said assessment and all appeals therefrom to said City Council be, and the same hereby are, overruled and denied. SECTION 3. That the Street Superintendent shall forthwith attach a warrant, bearing the date of this order, to said assessment. SECTION 4. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
