RESOLUTION NO. 918
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DOWNEY
ADOPTING AND SUBMITTING A BUDGET FOR EXPENDITURE OF
FUNDS ALLOCATED FROM THE STATE HIGHWAY FUND TO CITIES
WHEREAS, a master agreement has been executed by the City and State
of California on March 24, 1961, for expenditure of funds allocated from
the State Highway Fund to Cities; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has prepared a project statement showing
estimated expenditure of such funds recommended to be made during the
1961 -62 and 1962 -63 fiscal years; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has heard read said project statement and
is familiar with the contents thereof;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DOWNEY DOES RESOLVE
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That said project statement be and it is hereby adopted
as the budget of proposed expenditures of the gas tax allocation to cities,
said project statement be and the same is hereby approved and the City
Engineer is directed to sign the same on behalf of the City of Downey, and
said project statement to be submitted to the Department of Public Works,
State of California, in accordance with the provisions of Section 197 of
the Streets and Highways Code.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
resolution.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly
passed by the City Council of the City of Downey at a regular meeting held on
the 26th day of December, 1961, by the following vote of the Council:
