A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DOWNEY
APPROVING THE JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT WITH THE COUNTY OF
LOS ANGELS FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF QUILL DRIVE BETWEEN
RIVES AVENUE AND OLD RIVER SCHOOL ROAD ADJOINING THE
RANCHO LOS AMIGOS HOSPITAL (CAPITAL PROJECT NO.828))
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DOWNEY DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The Joint Powers Agreement and Contract dated this ,;2, r
day of 4. , 1961, prepared by the County of Los Angeles for the
improvement`of the southerly side of Quill Drive between Rives Avenue
and Old River School Road with concrete curbs, gutters and pavement, is
herewith approved, and the Mayor of the City of Downey is authorized to
execute the agreement on behalf of the City of Downey.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
resolution and forward a copy thereof to Mr. L.S. Hollinger, Chief Admin-
istrative Officer of the County of Los Angeles.
