A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DOWNEY
FOR THE ACQUISITION OF NECESSARY RIGHTS OF WAY, AND THE
CONSTRUCTION OF CURBS, GUTTERS, SEWERS, AND PAVEMENT, AND
CONFIRMING THE ASSESSMENT AND ORDERING THE ACQUISITION
AND IMPROV RENT MADE IN ASSESSMENT DISTRICT 64. (Stamps Ave.)
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Downey, on September 12, 1960,
adopted its Resolution of Intention No. 669 under the Municipal Improvement
Act of 1913, for the acquisition of the necessary rights of way and the construct-
ion of curbs, gutters, sewers, and pavement under Assessment District No.64.

WHEREAS, pursuant to said Resolution of Intention, the report containing
plans and specifications, an estimate of cost, a diagram, and assessment has
been presented to, and considered by the City Council; and
WHEREAS, at a hearing duly held, this Council has heard all protests in
relation to the proposed improvement;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DOWNEY DOES RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The report, the assessment, and the diagram hereby are confirmed
and approved.
SECTION 2. The rights of way be acquired and the improvement be made, all
in accordance with said Resolution of Intention No.669 and the report for
Assessment District No. 64 (Stamps Ave).
SECTION 3. The City Treasurer hereby is authorized and directed to establish
a special fund account to be known as the "Improvement Fund fob Assessment District
No.64 (Stamps Ave)
SECTION 4. The Assessment hereby is levied upon the respective subdivisions
of land in the assessment district.
SECTION 5. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution,
and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.

meeting of the City Council of the City of Downey held on the 14th day of
November, 1960, by the following vote:
