A RESOLUTION OF TIC CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
D WNEY PROPOSING CHANGES IN ASSESSMENT DISTRICT
NO. 10 (KLONDYKE AVENUE AND OTHER STREETS)
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Downey, by resolution
No. 597 adopted May 9, 1960, declared its intention to acquire cer-
tain rights of way and construct certain improvements as set forth
in said resolution; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to said resolution, a report was submitted
by the Director of Public Works of said city; and
WHEREAS, said report included therein plan No. 1- 10--45 showing
the proposed construction of grading, preparation of subgrade, pav-
ing with asphaltic concrete pavement, cement curbs, gutters, cross -
gutters, and driveway aprons, and construction of sewer facilities,
all as set forth and described in said Resolution of Intention, with
the work appurtenant thereto; and
WHEREAS, after a hearing held on said report, the City Council
proposes to change the work to be done as described in the report
submitted pursuant to said resolution as hereinafter set forth;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DAY DOES
RESOLVE AS POLLENS:
SECTION 1. Said City Council hereby declares its inten-
tion to change the work to be done pursuant to said resolution No.
597 by modifying said plan No. 1 -10 -45 and the work to be done pur-
suant thereto, as follows: the following deletions and additions
in the work as set forth shall be made as indicated. The number in

Said plans as proposed to be modified are on file in the office of
the City Engineer of said City and shall be open and available for
inspection.
SECTION 2. That the 23rd day of August, 1960, at the hour
a of 8:00 o'clock A.M. of said day, in the Council chamber in the City
Hall of said city, located at 8425 Second Street, in said city, is
the date, time, and place fixed by this City Council for hearing
protests to the proposed change.

change at or before the time set for the hearing.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk is directed to give notice of
of the proposed change by causing a copy hearing and o y of this

resolution to be published in the "Downey Live Wire," the first of
which publications shall be at least ten (10) days prior to August
23, 1960.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall
be in full force and effect.
