RESOLUTION NO. 44,2Y
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DOWNEY
ANNEXING CERTAIN TERRITORY TO THE DOWNEY COUNTY LIGHTING
DISTRICT
WHEREAS, a petition in accordance with Section 19210 of the Streets
and Highways Code has been filed with the City Council of the City of
Downey and,
WHEREAS, on June 9, 1959, a hearing was held by said City Council to
consider said petition and any objections against it and,
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that all of the area described
in said petition will be benefited by inclusion in the Downey County Lighting
District.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DOWNEY DOES RESOLVE:
SECTION 1. The petition requesting annexation to the Downey County
Lighting District is hereby granted and the boundaries of said District
are ordered to be altered to include the following described area:
All that portion of Tract No. 20899 as shown on that
certain map recorded in Book 630, Page 69, in the
office of the Recorder of the County of Los Angeles,
State of California and more particularly described
as follows:
Lots 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 of Tract No. 20899
and all that portion of Suva Street with said
tract.
r _. SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall cause a certified copy of this resolu-
tion to be filed with the County Assessor of Los Angeles County and State
Board of Equalization.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
resolution.
