RESOLUTION NO./i"
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DOWNEY
APPROVING THE FINAL SUBDIVISION MAP OF TRACT NO 24204,
ACCEPTING THE DEDICATION THEREIN OFFERED, AUTHORIZING
THE EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT WITH THE SUBDIVIDERS AND
THE ACCEPTANCE OF A SURETY BOND.
WHEREAS, there has been submitted to this meeting by the owners and sub-
#61 dividers thereof, a final subdivision map of Tract No. 24204, including plans
and profile sheets which have been approved by the Planning Commission and by
the City Engineer, and
MME/EbS, there has been submitted to this meeting a proposed contract be-
twwen the City of Downey and Attilio Batistelli for the construction of certain
improvements within said subdivision, and
WHEREAS, said proposed contract is accompanied by a surety bond for the
faithful performance of the terms and conditions of said contract:
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Downey does resolve as
follows:
That the subdivision Map of Tract No. 24204 submitted to this meeting in
cluding the plans and profile sheets submitted therewith, be and the same is
hereby approved;
That the dedications therein offered be and the same are hereby accepted
for public use, subject to any restrictions to be filed and recorded therewith;
and that the proper officers of the City of Downey be and they are hereby authorized and
instructed to approve said map and plans and profile sheets on behalf of the City;
That the Mayor be: and he is hereby authorized and directed to execute the
proposed contract between the City and said Attilio Batistelli in the form sub-
mitted to this meeting and that the City Clerk be and she hereby is authorized and
directed to attest thereto;
That the surety bond presented for the faithful performance of the terms and
conditions of said contract be and the same nereby is accepted; and
That the City Clerk certify to the adoption of this resolution.
