COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION CONSENT CALENDAR: All matters listed on the Consent Calendar are to be approved with one motion unless members of the general public or Commission request that items be removed. The Commission shall determine which items shall be removed and those items will be considered near the end of the meeting. 1. APPROVE COMMISSION MINUTES: Regular Meeting September 27, 2011: Secretary. 2. APPROVE WARRANTS ISSUED: (See City Council Warrant Register): Finance. ND 3. CASH CONTRACT NO. 679 – BUILDING ABATEMENT AND DEMOLITION AT 8314 2 STREET: ACCEPT IMPROVEMENTS AND FINAL CONTRACT AMOUNT OF $249,940.92; AND DIRECT STAFF TO FILE THE NOTICE OF COMPLETION. APPROPRIATE $23,380 FROM ASSET FORFEITURE FUNDS TO PURCHASE 20 BODY- WORN CAMERAS: Police Department. 4. APPROVE MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING WITH THE LOS ANGELES COUNTY METROPOLITAN TRANSPORTATION AUTHORITY FOR PAYMENT FOR REPORTING FISCAL YEAR 2009 NATIONAL TRANSIT DATABASE INFORMATION: Community Services. 5. INTRODUCE AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DOWNEY AMENDING ARTICLE VI “BUSINESS, TRADES, AND PROFESSIONS” OF THE DOWNEY MUNICIPAL CODE BY ADDING A NEW CHAPTER 12, ESTABLISHING A TOWING SERVICE FRANCHISE PROGRAM: Police Department. 6. ADOPTION OF DOCUMENTS TO PROCESS AN AMENDMENT TO THE CALPERS CONTRACT TO PROVIDE 3% AT 55 SECOND TIER RETIREMENT FORMULA FOR LOCAL FIRE SAFETY MEMBER NEW HIRES: Administration. ADOPT RESOLUTION NO. 11-_________, A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DOWNEY AUTHORIZING A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO AMEND THE CONTRACT BETWEEN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DOWNEY AND THE BOARD OF ADMINISTRATION OF THE CALIFORNIA PUBLIC EMPLOYEES’ RETIREMENT SYSTEM.
