A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DOWNEY ADOPTING
THE SALARY RANGE FOR THE POSITION OF FINANCE DIRECTOR
WHEREAS, the 2013-14 Fiscal Year budget includes the full-time executive level
position of Finance Director; and,
WHEREAS, the recruitment and retention of personnel to fill this key position requires
competitive compensation; and,
WHEREAS, there is no change to the existing benefits as established in Resolution No.
12-7357 for the position of Finance Director.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DOWNEY DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The monthly salary range for the position of Finance Director shall take
effect as follows:
Grade Code Pay Range
TBD $12,636.61 - $15,416.67/monthly
($151 ,639.32 - $185,000.04/annually)
SECTION 2. This Resolution hereby supersedes any previously adopted Resolution
containing established compensation for the position of Finance Director.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution.
